OWN 3 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

OWN Charter Schools are a fantastic place for young people to learn. Since our doors first opened in 2002, we have worked tirelessly to meet our goal of providing our diverse student body with an excellent education based on active inquiry, experiential learning, and social justice. We prepare our students to become independent thinkers and lifelong learners. Our newest school, OWN 3, is continuing this tradition of providing an exemplary school setting and opened in the Fall of 2022 in Corona, Queens.

OWN 3 is located in a state of the art new building at 108-68 Roosevelt Avenue in the heart of Corona, Queens serving Grades K-5. We are now enrolling Grades K-4 for the Fall of 2025-2026 and eventually adding a grade each year thereafter.

Our World Neighborhood Charter School 3 is a candidate school* for the PYP. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy- a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education- that we believe is important for our students. * Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP).
