Our World Neighborhood Charter School 1 Elementary (OWNCS1) is proud to be an authorized IB World School, offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) to students in grades K–5. Located in Queens, New York, OWNCS1 provides a nurturing, academically rigorous, and globally minded learning environment where every child is inspired to grow, explore, and achieve their fullest potential.

Our mission is rooted in the belief that education should foster not only academic excellence, but also critical thinking, global awareness, and civic responsibility. We integrate technology throughout the curriculum using tools like Google Workspace for Education to enhance collaboration and support 21st-century skills.
